About

I am a software development professional with 16+ years experience.  I had an early start in PC software development working with Peter Filiberti through some of his computer service, software development, and hardware development companies in the early 80s (my early teens).  I have been around UI and “graphics” since what I would call the beginning and have been active in utilizing digital production systems for video, animation, print, audio, DVD,  web, television platforms, emerging media, and wireless since graduating from LMU in 1993.

Lately I have been focused 100% on development for Connected TVs and Media Devices such as Blu-Ray players,  cable set top boxes, and the Roku player.   Much of this work is for the Adobe Stagecraft  and AIR for TV Flash runtime.

My experience has provided me with an approach to UI development that has facilitated award winning work as well as great satisfaction.

My company is at http://www.velope.tv

  3. Hello,

I’m having a problem related to Flash CS4 and AS3.

I have made a moveable sprite named “resistor” and placed it in a movieclip called “breadboard_mc” which the user can pan, rotate, zoom and tilt.

The resistor is moveable when the swf is played UNTIL I move the breadboard around in 3d space. Do you know why this might be happening and what I can do to fix it?

    Thanks,

  4. Katheryn,

It was a pleasure helping you out in any way I could. I am glad you eventually worked out your problem.

    Cheers,

    MG
